SMT Machine Operator
Working in the SMT Department and reporting to the SMT Supervisor, your role will be to keep the surface mount machines running efficiently in line with daily schedule.
We have 6 SMT lines that are all Samsung SM Series Machines.
MAIN DUTIES
To work to SMT department working practices.
To set up and run SMT paste printers.
To check and load components. To set up and run SMT machines.
To operate SMT reflow ovens.
To conduct visual inspection to ensure good quality product, working to IPC 610 standard.
To hand fit components when required.
To ensure SMT machines are maintained regularly according to instructions.
To raise quality issues feedback from test/AOI/inspection to supervision.
In addition, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.
The ideal candidate will have some machine operator experience, not necessarily with SMT Machines. We will be able to give the training required for this role.
