Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Junior/Graduate Retail Planner to join one of our clients who are one of Plymouth's fastest growing companies.
As a Junior/Graduate Retail Planner, you will look to create and communicate retail floorplans for new and existing stores. As a result of growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit someone looking for the next step in their career and who is willing to undergo a training programme in specific software and the role itself.
We are seeking someone with a background in retail, who understands the importance of maximising on space within a store and how the store would be best mapped out. You will have a strong attention to detail and good problem solving and PC skills and be prepared to undergo training to build upon these and learn specific software.
This role will provide an exciting opportunity to use AutoCAD and you will work within a team of floor planners, buyers, and analysts to produce accurate and timely merchandising plans for the stores to implement. You will also help to produce layouts for both New and Existing stores for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter trading seasons in a timely, methodical, and analytical fashion.
A creative flair would be advantageous along with previous retail experience or experience of interfacing with a head office previously.
This a temporary to permanent role working Monday to Friday 845am until 530pm and offers a competitive rate of pay.
