West Sussex County Council - Resourcing Advisor
Location: West Street, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1RG.
Contract: Initial contract to 28th February 2022 with possible further extension.
Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday - 9-5:30pm
Payrate: GBP121 a day
Description:
You will manage the provision of resourcing across a Directorate/Service, be the resourcing subject matter expert and will proactively work with management to ensure that resourcing needs are identified and filled professionally.
You will undertake a proactive approach to sourcing the best candidates, building resourcing pipelines and cutting down costs in the areas of resourcing.
You will report to the Resourcing Manager and will take on additional responsibilities as necessary to support resourcing for the Council.
Key responsibilities
Deliver the permanent and contract resourcing service within your assigned Directorate area.
Support the delivery of productive sources of resourcing and management of agreed Recruitment Agencies.
Support the delivery of the onboarding process to ensure staff are integrated effectively into the business.
Build a pipeline of resourcing to meet the Directorate People plan capability requirements.
Supporting the management and delivery of Graduate and Apprenticeship recruitment campaigns
Design and delivery of Resourcing policy excellence
Providing advice and guidance on:
• Increasing the talent attraction capabilities within the function
• Benchmarking salaries and campaign management
• Social media and resourcing marketing
