Assistant Accountant

A Part Qualified Accountant is required for a business on the outskirts of Leeds. Working closely with the Finance Controller this vacancy will be a key member of the growing finance team of a well known employer of choice in the region. Your key duties will be:

Assisting with the production of Monthly Management Accounts for the various divisions

Preparation & posting of monthly journals including deferred income, fixed assets

Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled daily & complete monthly reconciliation to nominal

Assisting with the preparation of the divisional cash flow forecast

Prepare monthly VAT Return, and Intrastats

Completion of monthly balance sheet & control account reconciliations

Manage company credit cards

Assist with purchase and sales ledger during busy periods and managing holiday cover

Help prepare for year end audit

You will be an ambitious part qualified accountant actively studying CIMA / ACCA with excellent communication skills, self motivated and keen to develop your career within an equally ambitious organisation.
