Due to the exceptional growth of Microlise, we now have a brand new role for a Recruitment Assistant, to support with the administration of the full recruitment lifecycle; from arranging interviews with candidates, to ensuring they are properly inducted on their first day. You will play a pivotal role within the team, so we are looking for exceptional people who are driven, positive, well organised and passionate about delivering a first class recruitment service to the wider business.

What will you be doing?

* Providing high quality administrative support to the Recruitment Team across a variety of projects

* Management of the full interview lifecycle, including but not limited to; arranging interview rooms and suitable panels, interview invites, rearranging interview, liaising with agencies, chasing attendance, core values and assessments

* Ensuring Recruitment IT systems are kept up to date to ensure a streamlined process for internal and external stakeholders

* Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation

* Support in the creation of adverts and recruitment campaigns

* Take an active role in ensuring all new joiners are properly inducted and supported upon joining the company

* Arranging hospitality, room layout and equipment for participants attending workshops and events, booking rooms/venues, printing and distributing materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order for the efficient running of all relevant events

* Comply with all relevant recruitment and employment legislation, dealing with confidential, sensitive information

* Support the Recruitment Team with employer branding initiatives, including social media platforms, company website, referrals scheme and internal brand and awareness

* HR and Learning & Development administrative support as required, on an ad-hoc basis

What are we looking for?

* Demonstrable experience within an in-house recruitment administration and/or resourcing role

* Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, ideally Reach

* A team player with a positive 'can do' attitude

* The ability to work and communicate with a diverse range of people

* Well organised, methodical, flexible, and adaptable to changing needs

* Ability to think creatively and innovatively about how to do things better

* Have a high level of attention to detail

* Comfortable with working in an environment of change, with flexible approach to new challenges

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Understand the importance of absolute confidentiality and discretion

* Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel

Recruitment Process

Interviews will take place remotely whilst the advert is still live, so don't delay getting your application in! Whilst ordinarily this role is based from our Head Office in Nottingham, we suspect the successful candidate will be working remotely initially, in line with government guidelines.
