GBP10 per hour (Daytimes Monday to Friday) increasing to GBP13.30 for Saturdays and Evening and GBP15 for Sundays and Bank Holidays

The Supported Living Service for Virgin Care, Bath and North East Somerset are looking for passionate individuals to join us to undertake this key role in the community and provide excellent care and support to service users. We are looking for experienced Support Workers to support adults with a learning disability and/or autism to gain and develop their skills and independence. This could be with aspects of daily living, maintaining a tenancy, shopping, personal care tasks or accessing the local community.

As a Support Worker, you will be working in a person-centred way to provide support as identified in people's care and support plans.
Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of working in the field of social care and particularly learning disabilities, however, more importantly is having the willingness to learn and the enthusiasm to make a difference.
You must have experience or be comfortable with possible lone working.
We will expect you to be highly motivated, passionate about social care, creative and committed to your own continuous professional development. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and have a good understanding of providing person-centred support.
