Senior Finance Assistant
Telford
Temporary
Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week
Salary - GBP22000 - GBP27000 depending on experience
Prince Personnel are working with a well-established, stable company based in Telford to recruit for a Senior Finance Assistant. As the Senior Finance Assistant you will support the Accounts Manager & Head of Finance in all aspects of the daily input of accounting information and the production and maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records.
Duties:
* Balance sheet control account reconciliations: Payroll Control Account Reconciliations, HP & long term liabilities controls, Sundry Creditors, Debtors & Creditors
* Monthly account analysis - P&L overheads - monthly analysis & checking of expenditure
* Freight: Management of freight recharged to customer v costs incurred
* Deposit account - manage deposits invoiced & paid & stage billing reconciliations
* Customer Project Accounts: Updating & Reconciliation's
* Goods Received Not Invoiced Maintenance & Control
* Expenses: Checking & entering onto ERP system
* Credit Card - check & reconcile & post to IFS
* Aged Debtor reporting & debtor day analysis
* Aged Creditor reporting & creditor day analysis
* Supplier Statement Reconciliations
* Departmental Improvements
* Cover for Accounts Receivable / Credit control when required
* Cover for Accounts Payable if required
* Support as required to the Accounts Manager & Head of Finance

Skills and Experience
We are ideally looking for an AAT qualified candidate with experience of working in a busy finance team. Strong MS Excel experience is essential.
