This role is funded by multiple internally delivered welfare to work programmes.

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as Work Fit Coaches. You will provide support for individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs aligned to using best practice to achieve employment, job retention and in-work progression and support.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with and training people with disabilities and other barriers. Have experience of managing a busy caseload of voluntary participants using a variety of coaching strategies. Be able to undertake in-depth assessments using a suite of tools including Wellbeing Outcomes Star to fully understand a participants' circumstances, preferences and holistic barriers to achieving job retention. Use social prescribing to develop and improve a participants' circumstances e.g. healthy eating classes, smoking cessation, social groups.

Key Responsibilities

* Meet personal key performance indicators and all quality and compliance measures.

* Help participants with mental health and wellbeing support needs to overcome barriers to maintaining employment.

* Co-produce personalised tailored SMART action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities.

* Use an Integration Framework of local specialist services to obtain support to address specific issues e.g. substance misuse.

* Develop relationships with multiple agencies and partners to develop holistic approaches to support participants e.g. CRC, NHS mental health/wellbeing, services and with participant consent undertake case conferences with external agencies to jointly optimise support packages.

* Advocate in support of participants with employers to resolve challenges to job retention and in-work support progression.

* When required, support participant's in all aspects of job-search and interview preparation to ensure a match with the right job enabling them to sustain new employment.

* When required, market specific participants to employers and develop employer networks/engagement.

* Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employers, based on an assessment of need, providing practical support to ensure retention or transition into work

Skills and Experience

Essential

* Minimum of 5 GCSES at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) including Maths and English

* Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel) - word processing, email, spreadsheets

Desirable

* Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject

* NVQ Level 3 Advice & Guidance Qualification (or equivalent)

* Experience of working in a target driven environment and ability to self-motivate to achieve results

* Setting up learning opportunities including workshops and bespoke programmes of work

Additional Information

Salary: GBP25,339 - GBP27.106 p.a (dependent on experience)
Location:This role will be remotely based, supporting participants across the South West region
Hours: - 37hrs per week - Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 17.00pm - Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm
Closing Date: 23 July 2021
Contract: FTC until 31 March 2022
