Our client is a leading, privately owned, highly successful and vastly profitable national, specialist food related manufacturer with several sites in the UK, who have been operating for many years.
The plant manufactures using a variety of machinery from high speed automation to large industrial equipment from their North Norfolk operation and due to expansion and continued success requires a Multi-skilled Maintenance engineer to oversee the new packaging and bagging facility side of the business.
This position is Monday to Friday, days only and is responsible for the upkeep of all machinery within the plant.
Key responsibilities being:-
* Day to day Preventative Maintenance tasks, ensure compliance to PM requirements and documentation.
* Speedy response to all breakdown situations.
* Experience of working with instrumentation, PLCs and inverters.
* Experience working with high speed packaging equipment is desirable.
* Logical approach to electrical Fault finding, and repairs.
* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
* Basic mechanical maintenance skills, replacing bearings, motors, pumps, valves and fabrication.
* Completion of online reports of plant condition, completion of tasks and PM routines.
You will be an experienced multi-skilled maintenance electrician from a production plant environment with experience of working with instrumentation, PLC's and inverters with a logical approach to electrical fault finding and repairs with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and have basic fabrication skills and mechanical maintenance.
Salary in the region of 36'000 plus 10% bonus, overtime, 8% contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
