Salary: GBP22,000
Location: Burgess Hill - role will include driving across the South East and London
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
We are delighted to be working with a local family-run company offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Mobile Technician. This role will see the successful applicant actively manage the existing customer contracts including site visits and product maintenance, while supporting the daily needs of the Warehouse department at their Headquarters in Burgess Hill.
This role is open to individuals that have completed an Electrical Engineering course, City & Guilds Level 2 and above or similar.
If you hold the correct qualification and are keen, eager and have a willingness to learn this could be the role for you!
Once fully trained, the Technician's main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Mobile Coffee Machine / Water cooler servicing and maintenance across the South East and London
Repair work of leased machines - usually onsite
Collection of leased machines for in-depth repair work in factory site
Delivery and installations of products across the South of England and London
Conduct routine maintenance of plants in client offices and premises
Warehouse duties including picking, packing and operating the forklift for goods in/out
Ensuring all movements of stock are documented to maximise stock control and accuracy
Collection of plant displays as and when required, as well as restocking of, or disposal of old plants, planters and materials
Key skills required:
An Electrical Engineering course, City & Guilds Level 2 and above or similar
A keen and willing attitude to learn and develop through ongoing training
A committed and hardworking individual
A counterbalance forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
Must have a full, clean UK driving licence
Highly presentable with excellent customer presence
Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods and products
An aptitude for technical and logical work
