Our client is a longstanding financial service provider based in the city of Sheffield with offices all around the country. They provide a well-known upstanding quality service across multiple industries including a wide array of financial services including business funding, a strong presence in the insolvency market and specialising in business turnaround.

Our client is looking for an Insolvency Case Administrator with minimum 3 years' experience in industry carrying out case administration in order to work amongst a robust team within their Insolvency Department.

The candidate will be required to responsibly provide support and assistance to other members of the team including Insolvency Practitioners and Case Administrators, also working within Insolvency Department, to ensure that all statutory requirements are carried out correctly and the Insolvency Practioners commitments are efficiently fulfilled to maximise the benefit of creditors.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Realisation of assets to maximise funds available to creditors (including tangible assets and debtor ledgers).

* Liaising with agents and solicitors associated with the cases.

* Preparation of statutory paperwork and other legal documents.

* Aiding in the preparation of documents for banks and other financial institutions

* Review and adjudication of creditor claims and distribution of funds

* Drafting correspondence to creditors and other interested parties on request.

* Negotiating with both creditors and debtors.

* Undertaking investigations with a view to identifying antecedent transactions.

* Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.

* Delegate work to less experienced members of the team as required.

* Liaising with directors to gather the relevant information in order to prepare necessary reports.

* Communicating with creditors to address any queries.

* Managing own workload to ensure statutory deadlines are met whilst ensuring that work is completed with accuracy and to the firm's standard.

* Taking responsibility for ongoing compliance on own portfolio of cases.

* Attending site visits as and when required.

* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with banks/lawyers/financial institutions.

* Processing employee redundancy claims.

* Support the general day to day operations of the Insolvency department with any task requested.

* Support the Case Managers, Insolvency Associates and management team in maximising the Insolvency department's efficiency.

* Assisting management team with monitoring time recording completeness.

Skillset Requirements

The candidate must be well experienced in all aspects of Corporate Insolvency and occupy the following skillsets:

* Extensive knowledge of insolvency legislation in lead casework area and general awareness of other formal insolvency procedures and legislation, including keeping up-to-date with current changes and alterations.

* Candidate must be composed and able to work in a high-pressured environment.

* Understands and manages risk within potential and current cases.

* High professional standards of conduct.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Assisting Trainee Case Administrators & Case Administrators effectively.

* Awareness of confidentiality and business sensitive matters.

* The Candidate must be more than competent with Microsoft software, IPS and possess quality computer skills.

The Candidate must understand the severity of managing a workload to meet crucial time sensitive deadlines.

Salary

Salary will be determined by the level of experience and seniority of the candidate.

REMOTE WORK

This job can be done remotely, however candidates will still be expected to make appearances in the Sheffield office on a weekly basis. This is negotiable in the sense of how often a candidate will be required to be present in the office and it will vary from time to time. A candidate who applies will be asked how often they are available to be in office as it's a factor our client is taking into account when selecting a candidate for the vacancy.

As the job can be done remotely this opens it up to the surrounding area and a candidate does NOT necessarily have to be residing in the Sheffield region, as long as the commute in isn't too strenuous when asked to be in office.
