Our client based in Glasgow has a crucial role available on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. You will work with a team of individuals focused on providing 1st line payroll administration and HR advice, managing and resolving employee enquiries and queries.

We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the team for 3 days a week. Hybrid working for this role.

You will manage and process data for weekly payrolls. Attention to details is key in this role as is the ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment to ensure that an exceptionally high level of service and accuracy is provided throughout the business.

Some of your key responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that payroll data is actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsible for reconciling the payrolls to ensure accuracy of calculation and prepare the necessary documentation.
To ensure that all funding for payrolls, bank files and cost files are produced and actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsible for third party payments and communication with the necessary partners to ensure timely payment.
Preparation and submission to the finance system of the weekly payroll journals.
Assist HRSC with any payroll queries that are raised.
Various general administration and reporting


At least 3 years payroll experience.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent excel skills.
Excellent communications skills.
