Our client, a professional services company based in Preston, are seeking a driven and resilient Appointment Maker to join their team. This is a full time permanent role providing first point of contact to prospective clients.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Generating quality appointments for the Sales Team in a designated geographical area
Making outbound calls to a pre-determined number of prospective B2B clients
Structuring a pre-planned call to a decision maker via the gatekeeper
Introducing the company and services offered
Working closely with a team of Sales Executives
Gathering & updating of information on the CRM system
Ensuring that your own targets and KPI's are met & at times exceeded
Organising the Sales Executives diaries
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:
Self-motivation with a keen eye for detail.
Strong keyboard skills together will excellent communication skills.
An excellent telephone manner
The ability to negotiate and influence others
The proven ability to work under pressure & achieve / exceed targets
Previous outbound calling or telesales experience
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant company who do NOT operate in a call centre environment or mentality.
The team itself are outgoing, lively and really welcoming! There are long standing employees who will offer training and development as well as being on hand to answer any questions you feel you want to ask.
The benefits with the company are fantastic and the working hours are 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, either 8.15 - 4.15 or 8.30 - 4.30.
