Are you looking for a short-term contract or looking for a gap filling role which can act as a stepping stone to move you up the career ladder? The opportunity on offer is a 6-9-month maternity cover for an HR Coordinator working for a global engineering and manufacturing company in a fast paced, energetic environment.

This role has three main responsibilities.

* HR Generalist queries - CIPD level 3 and above ideally or qualified by experience

* Payroll Processing - Simple processing of the payroll, following a process and being methodical is key

* General Administration - Excel, SAP, Data Input

We are looking ideally for a candidate with all three of these qualities however the client will look at someone who has experience in 2 out of 3 listed above and will provide training in the missing area. This is a people focused role so someone with tact and diplomacy will be a sure-fire success.

This varied role will see you working directly with and supporting the HR Manager across a wide variety of HR related tasks. You will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the HR function across the UK. Once you have settled in and are used to the processes and procedures this role will allow you to take full ownership of important HR related projects which will allow you to deliver an exceptional level of services to the business.

You will possess the following:

* Experience in a similar HR or Payroll position

* HR qualification preferred

* Good communication skills

* Good attention to detail

* Assertive when required
