HR Manager
The Opportunity:
If you are a supportive and hands on HR Manager or HRBP looking to further develop your career within an innovative, forward thinking digital / technology business with a national presence, then this Exeter based opportunity could be the exciting role you seek. Your primary focus will be on developing employees and managers, providing professional HR advice and support, ensuring that the company manages risk appropriately. The business is a fast paced, agile and rapidly changing scene, so we need somebody who is resilient, flexible, and has the propensity to tolerate occasional ambiguity!
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to development of the Group HR strategy and annual people plan
In conjunction with managers, identify & implement critical HR solutions to ensure right people, right place, right time for all teams
Provision of expert guidance to managers on implementation of company HR policies
Full line management responsibility for HR Adviser(s)
Ensure GDPR compliance for all activities in scope
Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in the delivery of services in a collaborative style
Coach and support managers to develop their skills through management of every day HR issues
Support the Company's performance management culture, including coaching of managers
In collaboration with Central HR team, identify & deliver new development solutions to enhance skills & knowledge within your location
Ensure all organisational change management activity is supported appropriately
Lead local talent management initiatives in collaboration with Central HR team
Provide expert guidance for local management on application of HR policy and employment legislation Preferred Skills Required:
At least 5 years Human Resources experience advising line management both strategically and tactically
Understanding of employment legislation and how to apply this within a commercial work environment
Experience of HR Databases (Workday would be an advantage)
PC Literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OutlookWorking Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri
