Service Desk Agent - Field Improvement Team
Must live within 40 minutes commute of the centre of Peterborough
12 month contract with scope for a permanent role available on completion
Hourly rate paid weekly via Umbrella Payroll model equivalent to GBP18,500 per year permanent salary.
Job Description
To work within a service desk environment as part of the Field Improvement Team supporting field service engineers across the country to ensure all work is covered and completed to a high level.
Contacting and updating customers in regards to status of their spare parts orders and updating the system accordingly. Also helping engineers to support where parts they need to complete a call are not delivered.
Pre-Ordering equipment and parts to support future dated jobs in order to help the Field in improving First Time Fix Completion figures.
Dealing with a range of jobs which involves placing service calls in the system as well as ordering parts from 3rd party suppliers and helping and supporting field engineers with part ordering.
Key Responsibilities
To work through live calls that are being booked via the call centre to identify same day opportunities to pre-order parts for efficiency to aid the field organisation in being able to complete the visit on the first call.
To book calls when parts have come back into stock as well as keeping customers informed if parts are out of stock.
Process jobs and process part orders for engineers.
Requirements;
?? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?? Excellent organisational skills
?? Experience of working on computer systems
?? Spreadsheet knowledge a plus
