Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a professional & enthusiastic Accounts / Treasury Assistant to join an industry leading Manufacturing business based in Sheffield and be part of their friendly, supportive finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable and committed Accounts Assistant, with a wealth of experience in purchase ledger and treasury duties. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for finance, strong communication skills and the desire to develop their skills within a growing organisation.

This role is the perfect blend of accounting duties, as you'll gain exposure across purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations and payments, as well as dealing with complex queries.

Key Duties & Role Responsibilities:

* Processing invoices
* Making payments to suppliers
* Allocating incoming payments
* Bank reconciliations
* Dealing with any invoice/payment queries
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers/customers
* Providing support to the wider finance team

Skills & attributes required:

* GCSE level or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics
* Excellent IT literacy with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office package
* Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
* Experience obtained in an office & accounts environment
* Experience of undertaking tasks of a transactional nature
* Previous training in customer service
