Client Reporting Manager
City of London Based (EC3), Up to GBP60,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Through continued growth & development, this superb international reinsurance organisation has just created a brand-new role within their Reinsurance & Reporting team, for a Client Reporting Manager who will support the Director of Reinsurance & Reporting.

The Company: This superb mid-sized Reinsurance organisation has gone from strength to strength, tripling their revenue and employee base in the last 3 years, so it's definitely a great time for the Client Reporting Manager to be joining them!!) The business was founded by two of the largest insurance companies in the world and in 2016, the business became a joint venture and established itself in central London where they currently employ an international team of over 100 staff, with another 50 based in a dozen other locations around the world.

Responsibilities Include:
Within the Reinsurance & Reporting team there exists a very agile workforce with a footprint in London, US and India, with individual Analysts having responsibility and accountability of activities across all three pillars of the department through the business cycle - Reinsurance, Client Reporting and Business Process.

The Client Reporting Manager is responsible for:

Monitoring and developing 3 assigned direct reports including the setting of goals and measuring performance.
Ensuring all documented client reporting processes and controls are followed and any breaches are identified, with corrective action taken where necessary.
Providing proactive planning and monitoring reporting campaigns annually including the allocation of Client reports across the team.
Issue Annual Q0 (Captive Annual Cession) report within contracted timescales and ensure settlements are tightly controlled.
Ensure quarterly Captive reports are prepared and issued within contracted terms.
Annual POOL / GRS and GPDS reported are prepared and issued within contracted terms.
Work with Distribution and Finance teams to ensure tight control of Captive Client and Pool Client settlements
Provide effective status reporting to the senior leadership of all stages of the client report delivery from data consolidation to report release.
Assume full control of all Central Fees monitoring ensuring that all income is correctly recorded.
Ensure suitable resources are trained to support the Client Report review process and that all reviews are documented.
Support the development and implementation of all change initiatives which impact client reporting ensuring that the right due diligence is applied to user testing.
Work closely with the Reinsurance Manager on all activities that affect Reinsurance data and central parameters.
Represent the department at Internal Distribution meetings relating to Client Reporting issues
Attend client meetings as required to discuss data and respond to client questions on the published reports.
Support Client Audit confirmation requests.
Provide on-boarding training support to all new hires within the department across all regions.
Work with the Director of Reinsurance & Reporting and other managers to help drive strategic change as required and the continuous enhancement of existing client reporting.
Required Skills:

Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience within Financial Services, Reinsurance or similar, preferably within Employee Benefits.
Enjoy good leadership skills
Experience of managing staff is preferred but not essential.
Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience within a related field.
Outstanding Analytical Skills with the ability to quickly summarise and convey the key components of data.
Ability to work effectively, display empathy and influence others beyond direct control, across organisational levels, Countries and Cultures.
Proven IT knowledge and project management skills are essential.
Excellent IT proficiency with advanced Excel skills
Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
