Exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial department of a contractor in the Norfolk area.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation with a sizeable secured workload. Working for a Contractor on a variety of Projects ranging in value. Working on the Commercial sector of the business. Experience in this sector would be an advantage.
About you:
You will be Degree (or equivalent - Quantity Surveying) educated and be RICS qualified.
Good working knowledge of Forms of Contract currently used within Building and Civil
Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement. NRM2 and CESMM3
Clean Driving licence
Good IT skills - particularly Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills - Electronic & personal.
Self-motivated & able to work within a Team or using own initiative.
Commercially astute.
Ability to manage/multitask activities / Projects simultaneously requiring good Time Management skill.
Strong character for dealing directly with Employers and colleagues.
Good negotiator
Flexibility with regard to working across all areas of the business, and hours to meet the requirements of this challenging position.
