Coba education is excited to recruit experienced primary school Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in Northampton on a supply basis.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will enjoy a well-balanced lifestyle, choosing your working days/hours and building upon your career. We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants who can actively participate and work as part of the primary school team, providing education and care for children aged 4-11 years. You will be part of a dedicated support team providing support to students with a wide range of special educational, learning behavioural and emotional needs.
Responsibilities include:
** Working under the supervision of the Class Teacher to plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities
** Implementing plans/programmes by working with individuals and groups of children to ensure that children's educational and personal needs are met, and the school's curriculum is delivered effectively
** Working flexibly with Groups and on a 1:1 basis
** Maintaining the learning environment and record keeping
** To promote the development of students' self-reliance, self-esteem and emotional resilience
** To develop positive working relationships with students, parents/carers and members of staff
We are initially looking for day to day cover when needed and for the right candidate this could lead to long term or permanent employment.
