Position: Management Accountant
Location: Epsom, Surrey with some Working from Home
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: GBP38,000

Purpose of Role:
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of the finance function. This role will be suitable for someone who enjoys a hands-on accounts role in a busy finance function, taking care of accounts from top-to-bottom. Your duties will include:
Monthly Management Accounts including responsibility for the balance sheet
Provide timely, accurate and reconciled accounting information to support the production of management information, financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
Assist Head of Finance to drive process improvements and efficiencies through system changes/implementation
To assist in the development, maintenance and operation of a framework of financial policies, procedures and internal financial controls.
Review VAT Production and Intrastat Reporting
Assisting with Stock takes and reconciliations
Reconciliation of Fixed Assets Register
Assisting with of Payroll and benefits function
Monitoring impact of business initiativesExperience
CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified
Experience in a similar role in a finance function
Full cycle of management accounts
Experience of internal and external auditors
FMCG / Retail / Manufacturing / similar industry experienceDesirable:
People management experience
Payroll management experience
Knowledge and experience of IFRS 16
Knowledge and experience of using Dynamics D365
Experience gained in a large / international organisation
Experience with large turnover in excess of GBP20million per annumEssential Skills / Knowledge
Advanced Excel
Excellent presentation skills
People management and motivationDesirable:
Knowledge and experience of using SAP / Dynamics D365
Proficiency in the German language, spoken and writtenPersonal Attributes
Able to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure
Self-motivating in own workloadApplication
