LGV CE AFTERNOON DRIVER
Industrial Personnel, working in partnership with our client in Barnsley, urgently seek LGV CE afternoon drivers.
This is an immediate start and the opportunity to work with a professional and well- established company. The work is clean with no or minimal handball, driving new trucks.
THE LGV CE AFTERNOON DRIVER ROLE
Duties include delivering food related products to warehouses and large outlets. This is trunking work which entails 1-2 deliveries per shift.
LGV CE AFTERNOON DRIVER SHIFT PATTERNS
Shifts are on a Monday to Friday. The average shift duration is 9 hours. There is opportunity to work more hours where necessary.
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are paid at a higher rate.
Working hours are proximately 12.00-21.00
LGV CE AFTERNOON DRIVER PROFILE
You will be required to:
* Be professional and courteous at all times.
* Carry out your duties in a safe but time efficient manner.
* Hold the relevant CE licence, Digital Tachograph and CPC Cards.
* Ensure the safe movement of LGV CE vehicles and couple/uncoupling of trailers.
* Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
* Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
* Ensuring handover procedures are correctly implemented.
THE PAY
* GBP16.00 per hour
* GBP18.00 per hour for Saturday
* GBP20.00 per hour for Sunday and Bank Holidays
Please note that the above rates are based on PAYE. The pay is weekly, and payroll is free of charge.
