We are currently seeking to recruit a Business Operations Co-ordinator to join our highly dedicated Business Operations team in Ashford. You will effectively bridge the gap between the Sales team, Customers, Finance and several other areas within a large-scale and diverse company. Looking after a portfolio of large & small customers, the main areas of support are pricing maintenance, reporting and managing customer facing buying lists plus assisting in delivering Adhoc information to support a wide range of projects and improvement initiatives across the department and for the Sales team and/or Customer.
The role:
Our Sales Operations colleagues are a central hub of knowledge, and as a Business Operations Coordinator, you'll be on hand to support your area of the business in every way possible. As a highly professional self-starter, you will already be accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment where the delivery of excellence in service is paramount. Business Operations is an incredibly diverse and hugely rewarding environment that connects with every area of our business.

Pro-active and strongly self-motivated, you will be highly IT literate, customer-focused, commercially astute and confident in your approach with both internal and external partners alike !

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Co-ordinate on-boarding of new customers
Attend customer and New Business meetings/calls (Internal and External)
Be a primary point of contact on New Business queries
Regularly engage with New Business Matrix Team and Account Managers to discuss actions in support of both business and customer activities
Nominated line set up
Update New Business Matrix, Account Managers and Line Manager with relevant business information to ensure all systems are updated
Order and organise sales and promotional samples
Work pro-actively to improve the customer experience

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Experience of working within a sales supporting role
Accustomed to working to tight deadlines
The ability to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure
Team-spirited, with the flexibility to work cross-functionally
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient use of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Use of SAP
Strong commercial awareness
