Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to cover a number of commercial contracts within the Cumbra region. The successful candidate will be a joiner to trade and have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of up to GBP25,500 based on trade qualifications/experience, company van and the opportunity to earn overtime.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Salary and benefits
Up to 25.5K
VAN
24 days holiday plus 8 bank holiday
OT paid 1.5 after 40 hours and double time weekends
Key duties & Responsibilities
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
To undertake "Fabric duties" which would include carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance covering; Joinery, Tiling, Painting, Plumbing, Plastering etc
Liaising with the contract management team
Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
Work overtime to carry out emergency repairs as required
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safe systems of work and permit to work procedures
Use all relevant tools and equipment within the safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
To ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements
Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
Ensure jobs are completed wherever possible within the agreed SLA's
Requirements
Any carpentry trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship) would be highly desirable
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry/Joinery, Tiling, Basic Electrical, etc)
Good communication skills
Health & Safety experience
Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
Flexible attitude towards working hours as you may be asked to assist on a weekend
Driving License
