JOB TITLE: FINANCE ASSISTANT
REPORTING TO: ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: PETERLEE
SALARY: GBP23,000 PER ANNUM
I am looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a well established company in Peterlee.
Working Monday to Friday you will report directly to the Company Accountant.
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
?? Posting purchase and sales invoices on Sage line 50 and Sage job costing
?? Bank reconciliation
?? Handling accounts payables and receivables
?? Maintaining company chart of accounts
?? Appropriately coding and posting stock issues to various jobs
?? Checking and posting time sheets to various jobs
?? Maintaining and updating purchase order system
?? Checking and analysing staff expenses and mileage claim
?? Maintain, reconcile and posting of petty cash
?? Analysing and posting of credit card statements
?? Helping finance team in month end activities
?? Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by Management
To be considered for the role you must have;
?? Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping
?? Sage Line 50 experience is essential
?? Competent user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
?? Effective communicator
?? Experience in month end closing

Salary: GBP18,000.00-GBP23,000.00 per year
