As part of the government funded Kickstart Scheme, we're delighted to be share an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join us with their primary location of Belper and working directly within Talk Staff's Payroll Outsourcing Team.

To qualify for the scheme, you'll need to be Aged 16 to 24 and on Universal Credit with an assigned Job Coach.

This is a 6-month placement that may result in a permanent job as we continue to grow.

Minimum Payroll Administrator Requirements:

Understanding of the basic principles of payroll, with demonstratable experience
Ability to manage your own workload, prioritising as appropriate
Capability of manually calculating payroll information
Accuracy and attention to detail
As Payroll Administrator, your focus will be to support the team in the general day-to-day running of the payroll department and will be the first point of contact for clients.

You will be responsible for the processing of some weekly, bi-weekly, fortnightly, monthly payrolls and processing auto enrolment pensions whilst ensuring compliance and client service levels are achieved. We have a great bunch of clients, so it's easy to see why we enjoy our job so much!

This payroll job will also include:

Downloading timesheets and process payrolls, checking that all information is accurate
Sending reports, payslips and any other information to the client via post or email
Being aware of changes to payroll legislation and implementing these accordingly
Ensuring all new starter information is collated and accurately input onto the system
Creating leavers documents and sending P45's
Making amendments to employee information
Answering telephone calls and sorting queries to a satisfactory conclusion
Filing RTI's including FPS and EPS' to HMRC
Processing pensions and uploading to the relevant provider
Responding to email queries
Salary & Working Hours

GBP8.91 per hour

Monday - Friday, 4 days per week (varied), 25 hours per week
