The vacancy
Our client has an opportunity for a logically-minded ICT professional to support their infrastructure and design programmes.
The role
With a pragmatic, hands-on approach, you will understand faults and set up issues and be able to follow the correct recovery procedures. In this varied role, you will be expected to set up and administer core services/servers including network infrastructure and assist with queries providing practical support on end user kit (PC's, Laptops, Cloud based service).. Tech-savvy and ambitious, you will stay abreast of emerging trends and technology including services, platforms, and related software architecture. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your 2nd line support knowledge and develop into a more technical 3rd line support role.
What do you need to have?

Experience in a 2nd line support role
*
Exposure to 3rd line support would be highly advantageous
*
Microsoft 2008 or above Active Directory domain architecture.
*
LAN and WAN technologies including strong understanding of Network Protocols.
*
VMWare administration
*
Citrix Administration
*
Azure / Office 365 Administration
*
Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
*
Methodical approach to the maintenance and development of hardware and network systems
