The Company
Our client, a leading Healthcare provider based in Uckfield, is currently seeking an HR Advisor to provide high quality HR support across the business whilst supporting and leading on multiple projects to include TUPE.
The Role
The role will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
* Managing TUPE transfers in and out of the business ensuring compliance with TUPE legislation
* Assisting with recruitment for the business
* Supporting Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the company
* Assisting with research and implementation of a new HR system
* Providing professional, pro-active and business focussed Human Resources advice and support to all managers and employees in line with HR best practice
* Supporting the HR Director to prepare briefings
* Providing advice to employees regarding rights and entitlements
* Giving guidance on policies, procedures and legislation
* Offering advice, arranging and supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings, escalating concerns to HR Director
* Supporting the team with delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities
* Assisting with employee queries
* Completing HR Administration
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* CIPD Qualification
* Extensive TUPE experience, involved with transfers from public and private sector
* Good understanding of employment law
* Ability to write and present information
* Confident IT skills and use of HR Systems
* Intermediate to advanced excel skills
* Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills
* Experience of interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures
* Leading projects and implementing new initiatives
* HR Advisory experience
* Flexible and adaptable approach
* Good attention to detail
* Commercial awareness
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Must be able to travel
* Degree level education desirable
* Experience of working in a clinical environment desirable but not essential
