Llandudno Museum & Gallery Visitor Services Officer
Seasonal Contract 4th August -3rd November 2021
Reporting to Museum Director & Trustees.
Hours of work. Wednesday to Saturday 10.00am until 4.00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. With the option of occasional extra hours for events and annual leave cover.
Hourly rate £10 per hour (£19,240 per annum pro rata)
Role
This is a new role to provide and supervise public-facing customer services at Llandudno Museum, including the supervision of Visitor Services Volunteers, specifically for reception, retail, special events and gallery invigilation functions and to complete associated administration. To provide a flexible, friendly and efficient service and provide the highest standards of customer service and safety for all visitors to the Museum. To assist in maintaining the security and safety of the Museum and its collections.
About Llandudno Museum & Gallery
The newly refurbished Llandudno Museum and Art Gallery is responsible for a unique collection which tells the story of Llandudno over 340 million years. Our museum was founded by Francis Edouard Chardon. In 1925. Chardon bequeathed his home, Rapallo House, and his collection of decorative and fine arts and artefacts to Llandudno for the enjoyment of the people.
