We are currently recruiting a Training Supervisor to work for one of our NHS clients in Wakefield.
The key responsibilities of the role will be required to co-ordinate, line manage and train a variety of Domestic and Housekeeping staff. Ensuring staff are suitably qualified to meet the required standards of the NHS.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
However, candidates "must" be flexible to accommodate other shift patterns as required during busy times. This could include evenings/night/weekend shift patterns.
Rate of pay:
* Mon - Fri days: GBP10.09ph
* Mon - Fri nights/Saturday: GBP13.62ph
* Sunday: GBP17.05ph
The main duties will include (but will not be limited to):
* Managing a large team of domestic cleaners & housekeepers.
* Mentoring new starters through a comprehensive induction and on-boarding process, to include regular supervision
* Ensuring accurate training records are kept and that compliance is maintained
* Dealing with operational problems - identify and respond to staffs needs and to solve problems/complaints as and when they arise.
* Working with line managers to address specific training needs/performance matters
* Making sure that staff members are performing tasks correctly.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously. However, if you have worked in a management role in a facilities environment (or similar) and have coordinated large teams, then do not hesitate to apply by using the online facility available.
