We currently have a position available for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the team as our Digital Channels and Content Manager based in Exeter on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP25,000 per annum.

Our Digital Channels and Content Manager will report directly to the Head of Internal Communication and will execute the agreed internal communications strategy.
Responsibilities as our Digital Channels and Content Manager will include:
- Development of a plan for all internal digital channels
- Working closely and partner with IT to launch and embed O365 and digital channels
- Supporting the introduction and help leverage adoption of our internal social media platform as a collaboration and social channel throughout Pennon
- Writing content that is pitched at all audience groups
- Publishing compelling content on Pennon communication channels; Intranet, internal social media (Yammer), digital signage, and other channels tbc
- Creating digital campaign assets for our internal campaigns using Adobe design tools
- Supporting a plan and develop effective marketing communication campaigns
- Owning and developing the Yammer plan- community plan, group hierarchy, and launch material and ongoing maintenance
- Producing and sharing internal social media analytics and sentiment analytics to measure take-up and use within individual groups and the network as a whole
- Supporting users and provide expert help and advice on functionality/features
- Identifying ways of using social media to help the business resolve issues or improve existing processes
What we are looking for in our ideal Digital Channels and Content Manager:
- Internal communications training and /or direct experience of managing digital channels internally/externally
- Writing ability - able to translate company speak into digestible chunks for digital channels for colleagues to engage with
- Working with stakeholders to understand the brief and to develop creative ways to land messages on digital channels for colleagues
- Comfortable balancing internal digital channels and using content in different ways on each channel to land a campaign or messages
- Experience in launching digital channels or in influencing their use internally
- Direct experience of measurement of digital channels to increase usage and drive engagement
- Experience of planning and demonstrating a joined up and integrated channel plan for internal campaigns
- Adobe expertise
- In Design expertise
- Film editing desirable but not essential
- May at times be required to work out of hours (unexpected media events, on call rota, external events)
