Group HR Manager - Group Role (RGL)

Role Location: Northampton, UK or Liverpool, UK

Site Responsibility: Group

Market Sector Served: Polymers; specifically, for the rotational moulding industry

PTT Group's sales turnover is US$72 billion and it is predominantly an oil and gas company and the biggest company in Thailand. This investment is part of a major 5 year strategic growth plan for the company and supports the company's vision 'To be the global experts in rotomoulding materials through innovation and local partnership'.

The Role:

We are looking for a Group HR Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) based in London, UK, the successful applicant will form part of our Group Leadership Team (GLT) and be responsible for a wide range of activities that include but are not limited to:

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

* Support Managers with employee relations issues

* Manage all recruitment and selection processes

* Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of our employees

* Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures across the Group

* Nurture and develop a positive working environment for all employees

* Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and required behaviours

* Maintain and develop pay and benefits programmes including pay benchmarking activity

* Assess training needs and develop training programs/initiatives to upskill employees

* Provide the management team with regular reporting and provide decision support through HR metrics

* Ensure the Group is legally compliant with regards to employment legislation requirements

* Ability to work independently without constant supervision in full transparency and collaboration with the HR support team (HR Administrator - Liverpool, UK & HR admin & Payroll Specialist - Kolo, Poland)

* People orientated and results driven

* Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

* Proven international exposure and working in Group structure organisation

* Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

* Competence to build and effectively mange interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company

* Hands on approach

Experience & Background:

* CIPD qualified

* Degree in HR or related field

* 7+years of proven working experience in a senior HR role

* Demonstrable experience with HR metrics

* Knowledge of HR systems and databases

* In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
