Grinding/Finishing Manufacturing Operative Required
A manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a end of line production operative to join their Team on a Temp- Permenant Basis
The ideal candidate should have grinding, linishing production and Finishing Experience, Candidates with end of line finishing and or quality control experience desirable.
Location: Kidderminster
Job Type: Permenant
Pay: GBP8.91+ (Skill dependant) paid weekly until probation period completed
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, early finish every Friday
Responsibilites :
Receive component parts from previous stage and check components to drawing
Interpret dimensions on computer models using Drawing data base
Set welder and weld as required to drawing specification
Use jigs and fixtures to build components to Drawing tolerances
Clean up weld if required
Assists within the Company as and when required
Support company improvement activities
Spends on average 85% of time welding
Must be able to work shifts
Manufacture Complex fabrications using Zintec coated steels, meeting tight deadlines to agreed Standard times
Must be computer literate to enable access of computer models on Drawing data base
Qualifications/Skills:
A 'can do' attitude
Hand tool knowledge
Grinding, Finishing experience
Experienced in welding large complex fabrications
