Production Planner - Pontefract - GBP20,000 to GBP26,000pa
Chase & Holland are working in partnerrship with a fast-growing manufacturing business based within Pontefract. To meet the demmands of a very busy company this newly created role is offering scope for progression and the opportunitiy to grow including CIPS study support.
Production Planner Responsibilities:
Analysing sales forecast changes and liaising with management team to agree changes needed.
Assisting in the development and implementation of improved processes within the production department
Maintaining and developing the bill of materials within the ERP system
Forecasting resource demand and raising orders with vendors.
Releasing work orders to production
Maintaining work schedules
Maintaining inventory to assigned levels.
Assist in the transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing.Required Skills & Experience:
Advanced ability with Microsoft Office including Excel.
Strong working knowledge of material master maintenance, BOM's, work centres and labour reporting
Working knowledge of Demand Planning and forecasting
Confident in training others
Project Management
Confident presentation skills.In Return You Will Receive:
