FLT Driver (Counterbalance)

This is a position that can offer an FLT Counterbalance Driver the opportunity to join a well-established engineering manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join the team on a long-term temporary basis.
Key responsibilities for the FLT Driver role:

Using the Fork Lift Truck to load/unload vehicles in accordance with daily requirements.
Deliver all packaging materials (e.g. boxes, pallets, labels) to all lines.
Pack Finished Goods ready for dispatch, including wrapping and labelling.
Order picking and manual handling
Ensure a high quality of service for both internal and external customers.
General upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse environment with focus.
FLT Driver Specification:

Experience of working within, warehousing, logistics & stock control
Worked within a manufacturing environment
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Team player
Computer literate
The ability to work on own initiative when required
The FLT Driver must hold an in-date Counter Balance Licence for this position.
Benefits for the FLT Driver:
In return the FLT Driver will receive a rate of GBP9.50- GBP11.50 dependant on shift
This is a long-term ongoing contract on a regular day shift of 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
