Our client, an established horticultural business based in Albrighton require a Junior Developer/Analyst to join their expanding IT department. It is essential you have experience of JavaScript and .NET programming in a C# environment. This would suit someone looking for an all-round IT role and training will be provided for the analytical side of the role.
THE ROLE
This role of the Junior Developer/Analyst will include; code and implement any additional modules necessary to aid and automate departmental business processes, apply any necessary application updates to current software, day to day operation of the Retail/Mail Order IT platform, analysis of the Mail Order systems and processes, identifying bottlenecks, solutions, and areas of improvement. Maintain core retail systems, code, and reports on an on-going basis and use SQL business intelligence tools to provide required systems, procedures, and on-line reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal skills and experience required of the Junior Developer/Analyst are; JavaScript ES6 with understanding of REACT, SQL (T-SQL & P-SQL), in MS SQL Server environment, .NET programming experience in a C# environment, application database administration, the ability to analyse business requirements and processes and propose positive IT solutions, complex problem diagnosis and solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making, REST/JSON APIs, Microsoft business intelligence tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Excel Pivot Tables, etc), Version Control procedures, Crystal Reports, data extraction, analysis, translation, and formatting, general office software - email, spreadsheets, image editing, calendars, etc. With the ability to work both independently but also as a team player with good attention to detail.
