Foundation Communications Administrator

Hours: 37.5 hours (full-time)

While office hours are between 9am and 5pm, some flexibility for evening and weekend working is required

Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP25,000 depending on experience and qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated, multi-talented person to provide administrative support to the Principal and the Director of Operations.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a good standard and have strong administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting. They will be experienced in clerking for committees and meetings. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to produce good quality draft documents. Experience in fulfilling hosting duties for online meetings, including the use of breakout rooms for larger gatherings, is a must, as is the ability to keep calm under pressure.

Experience of producing and managing content for social media platforms is essential, as is the ability to edit and develop website content. Excellent IT skills for Office 365 and proficiency in the use of databases will also be key to success in this role.

The postholder will need to be well-organised and proactive. They will be able to work with speed and accuracy, prioritising between tasks and projects as they respond to emerging needs in this busy role. They will show initiative and flexibility in their approach and in supporting the development and delivery of new areas of work.
