FRA carpenter/fire stopper Required (Social Housing)
Location: Various areas in London
Start: ASAP
Hours: Around 40 hrs
Job type: Permanent
Required: Driving Licence, relevant NVQ or City & Guilds, must be able to provide referencesMain Duties:
You will have a varied workload, which usually entails based from a local strategic site office but carrying out multiple visits to properties throughout various locations when carrying out responsive and void repairs. Typical work activities include:
1. Day to day management of workload
2. Ensure that all works are carried out safely and to a excellent quality standard
3. Updating PDA devices with work schedules and other key information as required
4. To maintain our corporate image and service standards
5. Be able to communicate with residents Face to Face
6. Where necessary, dealing with tenants issues and complaints in an effective manner
7. Ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities relating to repair work and contractor compliance.
8. Ensure a quality right first time fix' service is maintained
9. Manage Impress stock within van to minimise non working time.
10. Ensuring the effective and proactive delivery of service
11. Ensuring the maintenance and delivery of any documentation required to agreed standard and timescale
12. To work as an integral team member as well as a mentor and coach to apprentices
13. Making decisions using specialist experience
14. Supports and manages delivery of health and safety policy and standards
15. Supports & assists the identification of the reduction of costs
16. May take part in out of hours on call system as required by the service
