Technical Estimator

Prime Appointments are working with a world class plastic fabrication company based in Clacton-on-Sea to recruit a Technical Estimator into their team. Supplying to the Medical, Electronics, Chemical amongst other industries they are a leader in their field.

Duties:
Manage all estimating and ongoing development of engineering framework for production orders
Identify and support procurement of production tooling requirements
Offer innovative solutions when translating customer requirements into finished product
Communicate clearly with the production team
Manage all estimating activity for machined component enquires
Implement and own an effective ECN (Engineering Change Note) process

Experience required:
In depth knowledge of CNC machining
Excellent understanding of machinery automation
Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office and other computer programmes
