Your new role

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Information Security Analyst who is ready to take the next step into a varied Information Security Manager role. We're looking for your to bring a diverse and broad understanding of Information Security with hands on capabilities to ensure both our customer and internal data is secure. As our Information Security (InfoSec) Manager, you'll coordinate information security activities across EMIS and validate the implementation of our information security policies, standards and guidelines to eliminate or minimise information security risks to the business.

This is an extremely varied role and you'll be involved in many different aspects of Information security such as; maintenance of EMIS' certifications, ensuring we maintain accreditation by planning, scheduling and performing audits and health-checks across the organisation. Day to day you'll be involved in a range of activities and projects including (but not limited to) Business Continuity Planning (BCP), penetration testing, physical security checks, audits, risk & change management and contractual compliance. A key part of this role will also involve using your communication skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate audits with 3rd parties, and to engage with internal teams for training purposes to improve overall security awareness around the business.

Whilst you don't need to have undertaken all the above activities it's essential that you have broad understanding and experience within Information Security, with a willingness to learn and work across all aspects of the role.

Please note, EMIS is now a mainly homeworking business therefore this is a remote role, however you may need to travel to one of our collaboration hubs from time to time.

The team you'll join

This role sits as part of our Group Security function, a dynamic highly motivated team committed to ensuring that EMIS Group is organisationally and technically secure in a fast evolving environment with substantial critical assets, systems and patient data to protect in multiple locations and geographies. You'll work closely with both our Senior Information Security Manager and Senior Compliance and Assurance Manager, one of which you'll report to.

What you'll bring

These are the skills and experience you'll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however we'd still love to talk to you even if you don't tick all of them:

* You'll have worked in an Information Security role where you'll have gained wide experience, including experience with information security risk management practices

* You'll have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority

* You'll be familiar with IT hardware, software and networking systems

* You'll be proactive with an analytical mind, able to analyse data and suggest realistic improvements to reduce risk

* You'll have knowledge of ISO 27001 (or PCIDSS) and any qualifications (CISMP / CISM) would be an advantage

* Understanding of Pen Testing would be advantageous such as managing/facilitating the process
