We are currently recruiting for a Process Line Technician/Line Leader for a successful frozen food manufacturer based in Boston. Hourly pay rate is $10.94, paid weekly. Paid breaks. Opportunities for overtime. Shifts are: 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am. Shift pattern: 3-2-2 meaning you will be working both days and nights, rotating, e.g. 3 Day shifts - 2 days off - 2 Nights shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a food processing/manufacturing environment as well as counter balance forklift experience and can demonstrate good attention to detail, safety awareness, communication, and organisational skills. Due to the nature of the role, a valid forklift licence is required at an ITSSAR, AITT, BRITOP or RTITB standard or equivalent.

This is a multi-skilled role which encompasses a range of responsibilities and duties and can be physically demanding at times. The suitable applicant will need to be versatile and flexible in their approach to work duties. The applicant may be asked to work in any area of the business as and when demand requires it.

The Process Line Technician will report to the Shift Team Leader and will have, but won't be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation of a section within the Process Department (outside processing line).
Responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of the line are as required.
Overseeing a small team consisting of cleaners and a forklift driver.
Responsible for Health & Safety.
Loading and unloading of lorries.
Keeping hoppers full.
Ensuring that machine settings are correct.
Complete Hygiene procedures.
Any other adhoc duties as required.
