General Maintenance Operative
Pay: GBP10.23 - GBP12.78 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours:20 per week; Part time over 5 days (Mon - Fri)
Location: Barnsley S70 3NE+ Local travel within the borough - car driver with own transport
Barnsley Healthcare Federation is looking to appoint a motivated, qualified, experienced and committed multi skilled Building Maintenance Craftsperson to support the Estates Manager in a wide range of duties, ensuring the safety, suitability, maintenance and repair of all organisation buildings, in accordance with required standards.
As well as having a good all-round knowledge of a specialist key trade (electrician or joiner preferred), you should be able to demonstrate proven sound experience in general building maintenance works.
The successful applicant will take on a key role within the organization to ensure the departments are able to maintain and enhance the general environment for the benefit of patient, visitors and staff alike.
You must hold a UK driving license and be willing to undertake short journeys in your own vehicle across the borough as part of the role.
