Are you a General Practitioner (GP) seeking a new challenge? Do you have previous experience leading and developing services?
Service Care Solutions are working with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust to recruit an experienced GP on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a major role in leading the development of a new and innovative system of integrated emergency care as the Trust launches it's new Urgent Treatment Centre in Peterborough.
This post requires someone who is dynamic, enjoys variety and challenge and is interested in service development. You will have the opportunity to lead and shape a new service for the Trust, and work in a brand new facility for the service launch.
Job Purpose: General Practitioner (GP)
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
Location: Peterborough City Hospital, Peterborough
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Providing clinical assessment, appropriate treatment and supervision of all types of patients attending the UTC until onward referral or discharge.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision for junior medical and nursing staff within the UTC.
Delivery of high-quality urgent care based at Peterborough City Hospital.

Doctor with GP Accreditation
6 Months previous experience within a Primary Care setting as a GP
