AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC LOADING SHOVEL DRIVER TO WORK WITHIN A WASTE MANAGEMENT BUSINESS
ROLE: Loading Shovel Operator / Picker
PACKAGE: GBP12 p/h (40 hrs, M-F 7am-4:00pm) plus enhanced overtime
LOCATION: Bungay (candidates will be considered within a 30 minute commute)
DUTIES:
You will be responsible for operating a Loading Shovel, undertaking daily equipment checks
You will be involved in monitoring the process and be involved hands on in the operation of the site
You will assist in basic plant maintenance, mechanical engineering & equipment cleaning
You will work within and ensure compliance to company policy
EXPERIENCE:
You will have a nationally recognised Loading Shovel Licence such as NPORS or similar and experience (in house tickets will not be considered)
Experience in the waste management and recycling sector a plus, however you will be considered from other backgrounds. Experience in a sector such as aggregates quarrying, or agriculture would also be considered highly beneficial.
You will be practically minded and able to undertake basic maintenance work
Any of these qualifications a plus but not required: COTC, IOSH, NEBOSH, Mechanical Engineering or Plant Fitter C & G or NVQ
