Our client, based in the Dalmarnock area of Glasgow, have an urgent requirement for a Research and Survey Analyst.
This is a 3-6 months contract and based on a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday working pattern.
The business is willing to look at recent PHD graduates who have experience of large data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative with a strong knowledge and experience of SPSS. The rate of pay will be GBP16.69 per hour.
Role and duties:
Design and undertake research and survey analysis including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Interpret large complex data sets and translate into strategic and practical insights for informing Executive decision-making, policy and practice across all areas
Support the research and insights team on statistical issues, compiling reports and briefings where appropriate in relation to emerging trends to inform strategic decisions;
Maintain appropriate auditable systems and controls for documentation of all products;
Identify, collate, develop and deliver products and information to support public and colleague engagement strategies;
Undertake statistical data analysis and reporting of research findings;
Ensure a consistent level of quality information is provided to enable and support functional and departmental managers deliver improvement plans;
Perform a range of functions, including the compilation of reports and summary findings, as directed to support and deliver the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of identified key milestones;
Will be responsible for assessing and self-managing risk within all aspects of the role.
Key Skills:
Experience of preparing detailed research reports.
Experience of using insight, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve strategic and operational challenges.
Experience of pro-actively engaging internally and externally in order to collate and then present findings. Both in writing and verbally.
Educational/Occupational Essential
Educated to HNC level or equivalent.
Knowledge of SPSS and/or other statistical analysis and social research tools
