Plant Area Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding business and plant Area.Manager
The role of Plant Area Manager is to ensure the horticultural product offer remains commercially attractive, well maintained and that all aspects of the product, from indoor and outdoor plants are merchandised effectively.
You will be responsible for
* Managing a small team, setting and monitoring business objectives and overseeing customer service and overall department standards.
* Be on hand to offer inspirational and expert horticultural advice to customers to increase their knowledge and confidence in the garden.
* Controlling stock package and layout in order to improve sales
* Work with the buyer on stock ordering
The Candidate
You might be an expert horticulturist, or a knowledgeable retail manager with a understanding of horticulture/seasonality.
This would someone from either a garden centre environment looking for their next challenge. Or from either a DIY or Horticultural background where you have had supervisory/management expertise.
Salary : circa GBP25,000
