We are working exclusively with a leading service provider to appoint a Duty Maintenance Manager at a bustling shopping centre in Bath.

This position will work alongside and manage the M&E team as well as any subcontract partners to ensure that the operational efficiency of the Estate is maintained to the highest of the standards.

Role requirements:

Execute and follow emergency plans in case of an incident/ disaster across the Estate.
Maintaining & enforcing all Health, Safety & Environmental controls required in the delivery of the contract in line with the statutory requirements and also the client's accreditations, ensuring all stat compliance is monitored and adhered to throughout the estate. Ensure RAMS are up to date and reviewed regularly.
Ensuring all assets are maintained to the required standard acceptable to the Client and that all spares are stored in a safe environment, auditable and available for use.
Manage the CAFM system to ensure that the information entered/ completed and the MI in the helpdesk system is maintained to an acceptable standard.
Drive continuous improvement activities across all disciplines and aspects of the business, provide innovation and environmental reductions.
Ensure all documentation is maintained to a fully auditable standard required by the client & third party accreditation standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and safe working procedures.
Establish and maintain a technical library of procedures, compliance certificates and all relevant documentation for the site responsibilities.
Provide Contract Lead support in the absence of the appointed Facilities manager.
To manage, monitor and record all staff time sheets / overtime / holiday sickness and absence of your team, ensuring all shifts are covered adequately and Rotas as planned ahead. (M&E)
To manage and control all consumable ordering of stock of the M&E department and to control distribution of tools and stock to your team.
Attend Team meetings; liaising with other departments and management to perform duties and aid overall business needs.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
At all times to follow through any managerial instructions.
When required, to carry out daily site cleaning, H&S, and security and RFT audits as per templates set for site on IAuditor.

Skills and experience:

Qualification or "time served" in relevant M&E disciplines (Mechanical or Electrical).
Proven Supervisory experience within an M&E environment and the ability to communicate well and provide an excellent customer experience.
Experience of working in fast responsive roles.
Working at height, iPAF qualification.
Articulate and has the ability to communicate effectively with the clients and the contractor teams.
Organised individual who can demonstrate a record of planning and managing work flows.
The ability to be agile and flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role.
Excellent time management organisation and focus on ability to prioritise and multi task with clear ability to focus on detail.
Ability to articulate thoughts into clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Outstanding leadership skills; inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead team, train talent and effect change; willing and able to be a "doer" and "influencer".
Relevant H&S Qualification (IOSH managing safely minimum working towards NEBOSH).
IT literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of COSHH.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of high quality service delivery and their impact on this.

Salary:

GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 + Pension, Free City Centre Parking
