Your new role as Assistant Accountant:
As Assistant Accountant you shall enjoy a varied role. This is a newly established position and will support the group financial controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts and will be pivotal to further growth and the streamlining of process and procedure across the department.
Main Role Duties:
Ensuring financial controls are maintained
Supporting with Month-end and year-end accounting.
High volume reconciliations across the group
Supporting with processing of payments and queries
Weekly financial reporting
Supporting with general finance/ ad hoc finance projects
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall be part or fully CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified, QBE or AAT qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a assistant management accounting position. With experience in a fast paced environment you shall be seeking a varied role where you will look to add value in your role. A position which will see progression and the ability to gain further experience at a senior level, you shall maintain a solid technical skill-set and be well rehearsed in the production of accounts to trial balance, or complete, both monthly/yearly. With the ability to improve internal controls you shall have excellent attention to detail, a proven ability to work under pressure and have experience of working within growth business.
