Due to an unprecedented and rapid expansion across our group of companies an opportunity has arisen for a self-driven, bright, enthusiastic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources, practices and processes.

* The relevant candidate must support the companies corporate governance policy to foster a healthy culture and prevent legal liabilities.

* To work with the payroll department to provide accurate details of contractual changes to Terms and Conditions.

* Carry out policy and procedure reviews including updates and ensure they are applied fairly and consistently across the organization within the parameters of employment law.

* Act as the HR representative at management meetings

* To be involved in the recruitment process including screening and interviewing candidates and processing the relevant checks.

* To produce contracts and letters of employment

* Monitor probation reviews and issue confirmation letters

* Complete appraisals

* Conduct investigations taking notes and accurate records at disciplinary and grievance meetings

* To create, develop and facilitate HR training courses in line with the needs of the business.

* To ensure the business is GDPR compliant

* Ensure PAG are compliant in all areas of HR

* Manage and train the HR Assistant

Previous experience / Skills required

* Up to date comprehensive knowledge of HR Practice, concept and themes including employment law and employee relations issues.

* Proven HR managerial experience of 2 years or more.

* Experience of implementing HR policies

* CIPD qualified

* Exceptional organizational and communication skills are required together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.

* A strong team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

* An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discussion and diplomacy is crucial.

* Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team
