PEOPLE MANAGER - BOLTON (EGERTON) - PERMANENT POSITION WITH SOME HOME WORKING FLEXIBILITY - UP TO GBP45,000 (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE) + ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

THE BUSINESS:
We trade through two highly regarded general insurance businesses, Broker Direct and BD Elite, both being authorised and regulated by the FCA. This is an exciting opportunity to head up our People function, developing your own small team and implementing improvements across our companies. We value our people and culture extremely highly and are looking for someone dynamic to develop our employer branding in a highly regulated, fast paced and challenging environment.

THE PEOPLE MANAGER ROLE:
By the end of next year we will be employing 200+ people, many of whom will increasingly be agile working in terms of how they do it, where they do it and when they do it. You will own the full spectrum of People/HR functions from recruitment to departure. This will involve (but not limited to) both (i) plenty of hands-on operational involvement, providing an advisory and consultancy service to managers and directors, and (ii) strategic involvement, developing employee wellbeing and development strategies that will help us maintain a consistent employer brand.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience in working within a dynamic, growing business
Experience across generalist HR
Experience line-managing (preferable)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

CIPD qualified
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to design strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR Best Practice

SALARY & INFORMATION:

Up to GBP45,000 dependent on experience
25 days holiday initially, rising to 28 days with length of service, + Bank Holidays
